At the start of the lesson I will go through previous lesson summary to just freshen up the students memory, then going through the PowerPoint it starts of with learning objectives of the lesson, where I make the students aware of what I’ll be going through. After there is a starter either of testing previous lesson knowledge or a little challenge to identify which students are aware of the knowledge prior. Going through the lessons, I make sure to include pictures and interactive questions throughout, making sure to question individual students to identify if any of them are struggling! I may include videos when appropriate and further inform students of potential further information of the topic that many interest them, encouraging curiosity and thinking outside of the box. Near the end of the lesson, I try including quizzes or mini tasks where they not only have factual based questions but also applied to strength their knowledge and after refer back to learning objectives to make students aware I have covered all bases. Then providing homework based on the lesson making sure it’s challenging!
