For players who play certain positions, lessons are tailored to help them reach their full position. I offer conditioning training and strength exercises. I have experience in sports psychology, therefore I am aware basketball is a mental sport as well as a physical one. I offer virtual meetings with players to discuss their mental blocks and specific challenges when it comes to basketball.
I am a serious coach, however I do like to add lightheartedness in my sessions occasionally, giving mutual respect to all my players, no matter their age or abilities. I have played basketball internationally and in the UK, currently playing for my university's home basketball team.
An outside session on a court would consist of a 10 minute warmup, layups on each hand and then shooting and dribbling drills, followed by defensive strategies. I offer training sessions for complete beginners, focusing on the fundamentals of basketball.
My virtual lessons would be on Zoom, where I use PowerPoints and Canva to draw up training plans and discuss your goals and how you'd like to achieve them.
I am a comprehensive, sincere, compassionate person willing to help others, which is why I chose to coach in the first place. As a player, I have learnt from coaches I had over the years, but still have my own spin on techniques.
