KONNICHIWA! I'm Kyoko. I'm a native Japanese tutor and have lived in U.K. since 2000. Whlie I worked as an volunteer member of Japan Society and Japan Foundation to teach Japanese language and the culture for more than 10 years for local London schools, I got a qualification as a Japanese private tutor in 2015. Since then I have taught many students from absolute beginners to JLPT N1 level. My experience as a tutor started as a corporate tutor for leading Japanese and International companies in City and also for private students aged from 5 to 70 years old. Since I started to teach, my students passes N4-N1with good scores.

I can offer classes using many different materials using traditional textbooks (GENKI, MINNA NO NIHONGO, Japanese for Busy People and many others), YOUTUBE channels and my own materials.

My aim always is to help my student to have fun and be able to express themselves in Japanese without fear. It's very important for me to encourage my students to speak out in Japanese as much as possible during the lessons. I use English to explain grammars & Japanese culture for beginners. We always fun to talk about cultural differences between Japan and where my students come from.
