I'm Kyle

I'm an Engineer from Edinburgh with a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering

Maths and Physics are my core subject strengths as I studied both of these topics in great depth at University

When I was in High School I was fortunate enough to have parents who could afford tuition for me to grasp an understanding of Maths

The one-to-one support I received from private tutoring gave me the skills to understand how Mathematics works, it was like learning a new language

With this baseline understanding of the language of Mathematics, I sailed through my High School exams and was able to progress through my University Degree without further tuition

Sometimes all it takes is a different way of explaining the same thing, to understand something that has not been making sense for a while

And sometimes it takes just that little bit more focus on that topic which is particularly challenging

I can say from experience that private tutoring is definitely a worthwhile investment of your time and money

Think of it as short-term pain for long-term gain, because once the foundations have been taught and understood, building to new heights is achievable on your own

If you find yourself sitting in class thinking... I just don't get it. Then you are probably not being taught in a way that makes sense to you and the environment is probably not perfect for learning either
