Hello, I am Kye a current A level student who is currently studying, Biology, Criminology and IT. I have helped younger students in the past with their learning in school and currently I am a mentor to current year 7s.

How I like to do my lessons is by first getting them to answer some questions on the previous topic in what we did or the topic we are doing today if they have an understanding of it. After that, I get a judgement at where they are at. The next stage is to teach them the topic and how to answer questions on it. I go through step by step so that they can understand the topic and if they do not understand a step I try teach it in a way that is visual to them.

Once that is done, I like to get some practice questions done on the topic we have been learning about as this is key for them to get practice and get used to the questions. If they need assistance during this process I will offer it to them and give it to them.

Normally at the end I like to go through different topics so that their memories can be refreshed on any topics as it is easy to forget. By doing this they will constantly be going through topics that they might not of seen at school for a while and by doing this it allows them to be refreshed on a topic.
