I have taught in St. Peter’s S.S Naalya in Kampala Uganda teaching chemistry and Biology at both levels of secondary education.
I use presentations, discussion, peer-to-peer learning, and others as the teaching methods in my classes. These methods encourage students to develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills since they are challenged to think and produce content for themselves and then the tutor comes in to harmonise and emphasize what they have presented or discussed.
Peer-to-peer learning helps to develop learner's interpersonal skills given that they are always interacting with one another.
I use materials like projectors, real objects where accessible, textbooks and others.
