Over the years, i have had the experience of teaching in the universities, secondary and primary schools. I focus more on using diagrams in teaching as well as story telling. I love teaching and enjoying mathematics. I believe every complicated subject can be simplified depending on how it is delivered. Hence for that matter, i always tend to use simple words, practical examples in teaching. I believe strongly the foundation of one’s understanding is derived from how well a subject is been delivered. I intend to also incorporate charts, and diagrams in teaching as this helps students to visualize and tackle word problems.
I have had the opportunity in teaching calculus, algebra and advanced maths in universities, secondary and primary. My background in electronics and electrical engineering has given me a strong foundation in maths and i enjoy making it simple to others. Have also had the experience of teaching physics specifically electronics related courses . I believe knowledge building is a never ending task and as such embracing and always broadening knowledge had always been my hallmark.
My passion of teaching is stemmed from my childhood where i got enough assistance from my teachers and family. They made teaching specifically mathematics more appealing to me and easy for me. I also decided to give to the society what i have received by teaching and expanding knowledge through my profession. Currently, i am an engineer by profession and solve problems everyday on daily basis. It is through this i would love to extend the skill of problem solving through diverse and modernized teaching and making the subject interesting to study .
