I only have 1 year of experience being a tutor, but that shouldn’t deter you from working with me. I make sure my lessons are well thought and aid student learning capabilities. I incorporate videos explaining questions more and exam style questions into my classes, as well as quizzes and tests to make sure the students keep up with the topics being learnt.
I usually set a quiz half Way into a topic being taught to see if the student is retaining the content being taught, then at the end of the topic I’ll set a test using exam questions on the topic. Reviewing and feedback will be given at both stages to the student, to help them fix any issues they may have encountered.
Furthermore, there will be lots of practicing questions in my lessons, at the end of every class I will set homework questions as well for the student to complete. This is because I believe practicing as much as you can is the best way to retain and actually LEARN the topics of math, rather than trying to memorize.
