Hi! My name is Kushaf and I am studying a degree that ties in heavily with biology as an academic discipline. I have had experience in tutoring children from the ages of 7-16 for a range of exams, such as the 11+, GCSE and A-level. Through tutoring and studying biology myself up to A-level, I have picked up techniques and tips to understanding the breadth and depth of knowledge that is often required for exams. I am sure that by working with me, you will be able to improve your academic grades, skills and confidence.

My lessons are very exam board specification specific and I teach Edexcel, AQA, OCR A/B/Gateway. In a typical lesson, we start with content, note making and then exam questions. I always provide a large exam question bank which spans every examinable topic from cells and practicals to much more complex areas such as photosynthesis and genetics. Additionally to the exam question bank, I provide mark schemes with extensive worked solutions where necessary. I recognise that mark schemes tend to be very specific, hence why I provide my students with a list of key words that all the mark schemes look for in a top level answer.
