I believe in a personalized and student-focused approach to tutoring as well as general studying. In short, I teach through various methods including diagrams, analogies, and question banks. I personally like to start off by building a strong foundation and linking key concepts to other topics or areas of the subject and even other subjects. In this way, one can understand the subject content holistically and subsequently apply their understanding to questions ranging from simple one-word answers to more complex questions that require linking multiple parts of the subject to arrive at a valid conclusion and answer.

Having a solid foundation and understanding of each subject’s content, I firmly believe everyone can answer questions effectively and systematically. On such established knowledge, we go through different types of questions from multiple question banks, thereby developing effective exam strategies tailored to each student's unique needs. In this way, when one encounters an unfamiliar question, they are equipped to navigate the difficulties and appropriately answer the question.

Additionally, I emphasize the importance of active learning techniques, such as teaching others, self-quizzing, and spaced repetition. These methods not only reinforce knowledge but also enhance retention and recall. By encouraging students to engage with the material actively, I aim to cultivate a deeper and more lasting understanding of the subject matter.

Furthermore, I provide continuous feedback and support, helping students to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. This ongoing assessment allows for adjustments in the study plan, ensuring that we are always moving towards the student’s goals in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
