Medicine Interview tutoring: the format involves finding out the student's baseline understanding and quality of answers by asking them to answer mock interview questions. After then, I will give the student feedback on the things they did well, and things they could improve on. I will then sometimes answer a mock question myself as, if I was the student, so my tutee can see my feedback in action. A key thing I do in my lessons is then have the tutee answer the same mock question again, but this time taking all the feedback I've given onboard—which really helps them perfect their answers and remember the key points for the actual interview by repeating it. I have over 80 hours of experience and have helped around 15 students get into their dream university!

Business GCSE / A-level tutoring: I start lessons off testing the student's knowledge on a certain topic we have chosen to study in that lesson. I do that in various ways, but always try to mix it up to ensure that it's done interactively. Once the student's foundation is strong, then comes the application to exam questions. This is the part a lot of students struggle with, so my aim is to practise as many high yield mock questions as possible. I read through each of the answer and get them to think critically to increase their ability to evaluate and independently figure out where they went wrong, a skill that is key for them to improve.
