Kundai Oliver Shawell Sai

I am a versatile teacher who has over 13 years experience in teaching at various levels. I have taught at secondary School level for two years and 11 years at university. In my tenure as a University Lecturer, I have managed to create lasting relationships with students, colleagues and industry peers stemming from my ability to communicate effectively. I also have experience with teaching using e-learning platforms such as Moodle, Panopto, Google Classroom etc.

The student needs are at the core of my delivery as the goal is not solely for me to teach but for the student to learn and benefit as much as possible from my expertise. I adjust my teaching approach to suit the need of my students and to reflect their competency levels. I deeply believe that every student has the ability to excel if given the opportunity and the academic guidance requisite to achieve the desired outcome. I try to connect with my students on the onset as a positive student-teacher relationship lead to greater chance of successful learning. I have taught students from culturally diverse backgrounds both in the UK and abroad which has made me open minded in my teachings as well as my expectations from my students.

I also help students with exam preparation for all stages as I have over a decade of experience as an examiner and marker at University. In addition I can provide assistance with research proposals, research problem formulation, questionnaire design, data analysis, dissertation/thesis writing, editing as well as research publications.
