I am committed to creating a supportive tutoring environment where students receive the support they need to succeed in their subjects and learn to enjoy learning.

Not only have I achieved exceptionally in the qualifications I teach, I am passionate about the subjects, and enthusiastic about engaging in them and helping other students, even though my own journey to the qualifications is complete.

Having successfully tutored a group of students previously, I understand what is required of me as a tutor and I shall work diligently to fulfill my duties and beyond. I promise to provide lessons that effectively guide students through these subjects:

- GCSE AQA maths

- GCSE AQA citizenship studies

- A Level AQA English Literature (tragedy and crime with a focus on: Othello, Richard II, The Great Gatsby, Atonement, The Rime of The Ancient Mariner, and Browning and Wilde selected poems)

- A Level OCR Religious Studies

My lessons will start with a short discussion to establish what the student already knows and what the problem areas are. From this, I will create a lesson plan to build on students' existing knowledge and to guide them through their struggles, carefully curating each lesson to suit their individual needs and pace.

I am not a professional teacher however I have been taught how to tutor by an experienced and qualified teacher and tutor. Hence, although I may not have the complete standards of a qualified teacher, I understand how to teach and what is required to ensure students succeed through effective tutoring and as a result I aim to work hard to implement what I have learnt, at an affordable price to you.
