I have over five years of professional teaching, research, and field expertise in biological sciences at the university level. I have been awarded as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standard Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education at Aberystwyth University. This involves 12 h of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training and implemented unique teaching techniques like Visual, Aural, Reading, and Kinaesthetic (VARK) method, and worked on module construction, video editing for respective subjects, Blackboard and Turnitin use, field trips, lecturers’ demonstrations etc.
I have also worked as a STEM tutor with Brilliant Club organization, U.K. and delivered university-style lectures to KS3 and KS4 pupils by course designing and using the virtual learning environment (VLE) platform. I have been able to successfully teach varying concepts of biological sciences and engage participation from pupils in the public engagement at the British Science week fair.
