I believe that everyone can excel at Maths provided they have clear basics around the topic at hand. Therefore, when teaching a topic, my series of lessons would look somewhat like this:
1. A prior knowledge/ recap linking the topic to any prior topic done followed by an introduction to the topic at hand
2. An extensive lesson covering the topic with a wide range of questions to practice on
3. If clear with everything, we'll focus on any sort of challenging questions
4. Try to wrap up the topic if you're comfortable with it (we'll use assessments to see this)

With me as your tutor you'll get loads of questions to practice on as homework or during the lesson !

I have a teaching experience of over 7 months in two Sheffield schools since October 2022 which makes me still in touch with the school environment and knowing what you'd probably be doing in your school.
