I have my own books and notes.
Usually, I would start the lesson with the recap of the last class and then by telling what the person did during the week - so there would be some initial interaction and speaking. Then I would move on to some grammar - which is dependent on the level of the person - normally I have my own notes and exercises prepared beforehand - or I am bringing the books. Then after working on grammar and doing the exercises, I move on to some vocabulary. This differs from the age of the person and from what I am teaching. In younger classes, it is usually some basic vocabulary - animals, colours, free time, space etc. In older classes it can be done through some reading - normally we read some articles (about food, cooking recipes, nature or what is new in the world). This is dependent on what the person is responding to best and what is their learning technique and also what are their interests. After doing some vocabulary I move on to the last 5-10 minutes of a recap of the class and give out some homework - usually, some exercises, writing or listening to music.
I prepare all of my notes and formats by myself. Since I went through learning the language I have all the material I need for teaching and I can cover all the basics since I went through it myself. All of the notes and everything I used in the class, I share afterwards so everyone can access it.
