I am a qualified teacher with DBS. I am very experienced at online tutoring with all ages and abilities.

I have a wide knowledge of all the maths topics and building blocks needed for success. I tutor maths up to GCSE level including retakes and adults.

I have developed a variety of strategies to support my students during online sessions including:
- modelling methods;
- explaining tricky concepts;
- reviewing maths vocabulary;
- identifying misconceptions;
- discussing how to approach maths questions;
- practising different maths areas together;
- building up confidence to work independently.

I spend time getting to know my students and establishing what they are finding hard in their maths lessons and what they want to learn or practise. I plan all my sessions in advance and tailor them to the needs of each student.
