I like to use mindmaps, slides and whiteboards to teach. I am open to trying new styles that may suit you better. I believe in active recall as an important tool in the learner's toolkit, which is why I also use basic questions to test memory and understanding of fundamental knowledge.

A Preliminary Assesment may be used to assess your current ability (if you think it is worth doing). This will help me understand your weak points so that they can be prioritised and addressed accordingly.

I use exam questions and exam style questions to ensure you understand how to apply the content in the format that your exam board requires you to. Application of your knowledge is essential and it is important to develop the writing skills needed to answer exam questions coherently. I will mark these questions and explain how you can improve your answers.
