Hello everyone! I am Kourosh (you can also call me Cyrus, the latinized version of my name) and I would be glad to help any one of you out! I am a biotechnology student here at the University of Tehran as well as a former Biolympiadist with a silver medal at the 6th National Olympiad of Stem Cells. I have experience teaching biology and ESL students alike, teaching different students from various backgrounds.
Fine-tuning my private classes to the needs of individual students is part of what I do. The flow of the lesson, the materials covered, and the overall atmosphere of the class are set by what the learner intends to receive from the class. As for my biology classes, I implement a personalized lesson plan according to the learner's level or on the basis of what they need in order to prepare for a particular curricular course (e.g. GSCE, A-level, or NFQ) or standardized test (e.g. AP Biology). Based on my experience studying for Biology Olympiads, the core of these biology lessons relies on the use of college biology and widely-adopted textbooks like Campbell Biology. Being a university student myself with a profound interest in research, I also draw upon analytical and practical modes of assessment in order to enhance the learning experience with the benefit of constructive reasoning and research-based approaches.
A great part of what I enjoy about teaching almost anything is the gold of communication - the zeal I get to split with another individual for the subject I teach, I thus endeavor to deliver a course that heavily revolves around your needs and character! I'd very much like to embark on this journey with you!
