I’ve been tutoring for the past 7 years, and have undertaken my GCSE, A-Levels and Degree fairly recently meaning I have more subject specific knowledge than most teachers out there. Additionally, I know how to write out answers to maximise marks. A skill in which I have extended to my students.

I know how to study specific subjects in order to learn exam topics, and how to teach them to students of any ability. I have tutored students studying for their A-Level and GCSE exams both in person and online so have experience in both fields.

My teaching style consists of identifying weaker areas and focusing on strengthening these through guided learning (where I show you how to solve it, then we solve some examples together, then I ask you to solve a past paper question - I’ll help if needed).

A lot of the work we will do (for GCSE and A-Level) will include questions from past-paper banks as this has shown to be the best way to learn how to solve complicated questions using the necessary steps to both learn the topics and obtain the marks.

We will systematically go through the syllabus and make sure the student is confident in every aspect of the course to ensure success in their exams.

I also Tutor for Psychology at a degree and Masters level. I recently completed my masters in applied psychology and economic behaviour (scoring a high distinction), whilst teaching a module on undergraduate assessment preparation. I am happy to assist those in need of degree help.
