About me
Hey, I am Kopiqa. I am in the final year of my master's degree at Queen Mary's University of London.

I love maths, and I love a challenge, and I also love working with and understanding people directly. For the past 3 years, I have volunteered myself at the Reach Out Mentoring Scheme, as a mentor teaching young adults Maths and English.

I look forward to assisting you to strive for success and achieve all of your study goals!

About my sessions
The structure of lessons will be tailored to accommodate the needs of individual students and their different styles of learning. I will aid students in understanding the topics they need some extra help with by working through revision notes specific to their exam board syllabus and specification points. I will ask students about the topics they are covering at school currently, and the ones they find most difficult - that way we can start working on the areas they are the least confident to keep students motivated and to optimise lesson time.

Once students are confident with the content, I will move on to aiding students with nailing exam techniques by using various different verbal and written exam questions and practice papers in order to build exam confidence. I believe exam confidence is key to achieving the best academic grades so my focus will be to ensure students are answering questions seamlessly to ensure they obtain the maximum number of marks. My teaching style will allow students to enjoy solving exam questions and enabling them to reach the answer independently.
