I am a registered nurse with over 5 years NMC registration and 13 years experience in the health and social care and nursing home sector. I specialise in the adult field however have experience in and work with students across all fields including mental health, learning disability, paediatrics and midwifery (where appropriate and where principals and skills are transferable). I have worked across the private and public sectors and have also managed nursing services. I am skilled in both acute and chronic disease management and have particular areas of interest in diabetes, emergency care, palliative care, urology, infectious diseases and infection control. I am a patient and compassionate individual and aim to support students. I am versatile and work to the academic needs of the student by completing virtual/online lessons, face to face lessons and can communicate via email and telephone call. I have a 100% success rate with all students that I have worked with. Some areas that I can support in include academic essays, reports, research, OSCEs, clinical skills, presentations, IT, interview preparation, referencing, personal statements, end of year interviews and medication skills. In addition to nursing I also support students where appropriate in healthcare, social care, paramedics, social workers. I support students from a range of academic levels from SCQ, HNC, access to nursing, BSC, MSc and beyond. I am also interested in research and support numerous students with understanding research and the research process. I have positive feedback from previous students that I have worked with and how this has helped them to develop their understanding in a particular area.
