My teaching methods will always start with a comprehensive initial assessment, this ensures that I have a full understanding of your needs and that I am the right person to meet them effectively. I will spend time getting to know you, building a rapport based on mutual respect and integrity. My effective communication skills and kind nature will allow you to feel comfortable in sharing any potential barriers you have to your learning and/or employment, or any fears you may have and we can then work through these together. I will always take time to have a clear understanding of your hopes and aspirations and support you in realising your goals. Your goals become our shared mission and I know that things will be easier when we do them together. I recognise that people learn differently and I have extensive experience in adapting teaching, learning and assessment methods to cater for individual needs. This includes supporting individuals with overcoming multi-faceted barriers including learning difficulties, disabilities, neuro divergence, physical health and mental health issues. My methods include an ethos of "There is no wrong, there is only learning!" and "It's never too late to learn!". Learning is best when it is fun, relevant, differentiated and shared, and I cannot wait to share your learning experience with you!
