Hello, my name is Kirsten. I am a certified TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) teacher. I also have a bachelor’s degree in business marketing with collectively 5 years of experience in business marketing, sales, and customer service.

I am from South Africa, but I also have British heritage.

Some of my favourite hobbies include art, photography, and fitness. If I am not watching the next best film, I am either in the gym or creating nail art in my spare time!

I specialize in teaching English for intermediate to advanced learners from the ages 3+ according to the 4 key skills – listening, speaking, writing, and reading.

I have a Hybrid Teaching Style. This means that I use a combination of teaching styles (Demonstrating, Facilitating, or even Delegating) to tailor lessons for students’ different learning styles.

Being a creative person, I bring this creativity to the virtual classroom by making our lessons fun, interactive and meaningful. As a learner in my class, you will participate in engaging activities, interesting games, and challenging tests.
