I am passionate about helping students achieve their educational goals by fostering a deep understanding of their subjects. With a patient, adaptable teaching style, I deliver 1-1 or small-group lessons, both of which are designed to help students grasp concepts quickly and apply them to exam questions in timed conditions.

Each session involves detailed explanation of the topic, guided practice and independent study, followed by regular feedback to identify areas of improvement and track progress. I also set homework on a weekly basis, which I mark and use to highlight persistent weaknesses that I can then focus on. Once the student has familiarised themselves with around 40% of the subject content, I guide them through past papers, before they start independently working through exam paper packs. This simulates real exam environments, aiding students in developing time management skills and perfecting their exam technique. I also integrate digital tools and interactive resources to make the learning process more engaging, offering varied methods to reinforce difficult concepts. These resources allow students to track their progress outside of lessons and stay motivated to improve.

Where there is any cause for concern, I raise the issue with the parent and student outside of lesson. This collaborative approach will enable us to address any challenges promptly and create a plan for moving forward to support the student with overcoming any obstacles and succeeding in their academic journey.
