About me

I am a friendly, dedicated English Tutor with a First Class Degree in Comparative Literature.

In addition to my decade working as an English Tutor, I have taught English in secondary schools, tutored small groups and lead workshops. I have been priveledged to teach many SEN students and thoroughly enjoy cultivating trusted relationships, so that every student's confidence and skill can shine. I...
I am a friendly, dedicated English Tutor with a First Class Degree in Comparative Literature.

In addition to my decade working as an English Tutor, I have taught English in secondary schools, tutored small groups and lead workshops. I have been priveledged to teach many SEN students and thoroughly enjoy cultivating trusted relationships, so that every student's confidence and skill can shine. I have previously worked with vulnerable children, those outside of the school system and homeschooled learners. I am familiar with EdExcel, AQA and OCR exam boards.

My area of focus is GCSE English Language and Literature, although I have experience with, and enjoy teaching all ages.

My skills with online tuition were strengthened during lockdown, and I have a bank of lesson plans specifically tailored for online learning. I am happy to set and assess homework, allowing for academic guidance to continue between tutoring sessions.
