Hi! My name is Kira and I am 22 years old. I am currently a primary school teacher, which means that I have up to date knowledge of the current curriculum and have experience in tutoring pupils through SATs, 11plus and GCSE exams. I am very enthusiastic with what I teach, as English is a passion of mine.

I tailor my lessons to meet the needs of each pupil. This can be discussed either during the first lesson or before, to accommodate for your learning styles. I am very confident in with a wide range of teaching pedagogies. I can accommodate and support different types of a learning needs. I have experience in working alongside children and young adults with dyslexia and SEND needs.

I aim for my sessions to be judgment free, and strive to make my sessions as engaging and interactive as possible as I strive for my learners to be active and enthusiastic learners rather than passive. Ultimately, my aim is to ensure that the targets set out by my clients are met and they are able to progress at a pace that is relevant to themselves.

I will be more than happy to help create revision plans and prove any necessary materials that each pupil requires, including pens, pencils, paper, notebooks, flash cards, past papers and example exam style questions.
