I m a MRes student at the Environmental Research Institute in Thurso. I absolutely love being a researcher, and like to help people. For the past five years I have lived in the Moray area in Scotland before moving up to Thurso. I have been teaching as a second language for over 2 years now, and I believe that learning a language can only be done by doing it and understanding it. So my approach is always about getting students involved into the lesson. What makes my lessons unique is that I grew up in Germany and German is my first language so I always try to not just teach a language but also bring the culture a bit closer to you. Cause we will only remember things we find interesting and understand.
From learning about origins of words to understand whole sentences I will always make it as personal fitted to your needs as possible.
I had the pleasure of teaching adults and children before, remember you are never to old to learn something new!
As I am based up in highlands my lessons will be online but don’t worry I will still be there to interact and learn with you. So no matter where you are I will be able to reach you and be able to learn German with you.
Learning a second language is hard and I honestly am still having moments where I don’t know words in English and I m as fluent as you can get as second language speaker, so don’t worry I know how hard it is!! And I m here to help.
