For beginners i’ll set up a lesson plan which will help with their pronunciation, learning past present and future as well as learning the basics of the alphabet. The spanish taught will be spanish originating from spain. I’ll provide both fictional and non fictional books, presentations on spanish culture will be introduced. As i done A level spanish, watching films allows students to learn the the importance of expressions and emotions and how that shapes language. i will also provide exercises and homework in each private lesson to allow students to work and practice every day. Depending on how advance a student is, i’ll begin with an introduction of the alphabet, accent and pronunciation, then head onto writing which will then prepare the student for reading. I like to interact with my students, i prefer to be more visual and vocal with my teaching as it expands the child’s comprehension and allows them to interact more. I provide both online and face to face lessons, however i do believe that face to face lessons will be more effective and would allow me to help freely and allow myself to create a safe space between students in where they can feel comfortable in making mistakes, acknowledging them and allowing me to help solve their issue. i would alternate each lesson and conduct each differently, for example, one lesson might be more visual based like films or watching videos, others would be more written based and others would be more interactional like learning to hold conversations with someone. At the end of each month a small test will be prepared in order to track the students progress and allow me to detect what areas need more work on and what areas have shown massive improvement.
