I think communication and understanding is very important, so I think it is very important to talk through problems, topics and questions so my potential students have a clear understanding before tackling any questions. Trying a range of questions and continuous practice is key to achieving any goals the students have. I think it is really important to highlight any successes from small to big that the students achieve to build confidence when working through challenging areas that the students struggle with. I want to create a comfortable environment where students can ask any questions or challenges they feel with the subject I am teaching. My tutoring will involve taking clear notes that students can understand in their own words, that they can look back on in the future. I have access to different educational platforms and resources so I would be able to provide material for my potential students to learn and practice from. I think that I am able to understand any experiences, feelings and challenges my students may face as I have been through the same thing in recent years. I have also had experience in tutoring a few people in the same year as me in the past as well as looking after a child and teenager for two years where I not only looked after them but helped them weekly with their homework. From previous work experience and school I have built a problem solving and scheduling skills, so I can impact my students in a positive way in their education.
