Hi there

I'm a British native speaker, with considerable teaching and training experience, including developing and delivering an English Phonetics course for overseas science researchers, teaching primary schoolchildren pacing and tone in English, and delivering presentation skills for non-native-English speakers. I have worked overseas in Asia and with many cultures, and I understand the different ways people speak and write English, and how it can interfere with successful communication outcomes.

There's no point in having perfect grammar and sentence structure, or even a fantastic vocabulary if people don't really understand what you telling them. My focus here is to help you be clearer and more effective when communicating in English - both spoken and written - invaluable in business interactions, which in turn makes you more confident.

Today's work teams are multicultural and multigenerational, and everything is faster, so clarity is a key competency. This is where I come in.

Our first session is free - I'll assess your level of English and determine where the focus should be, then develop a customised course that works for you. As this programme is developed around your needs, including pacing, there is a minimum commitment of six one-hour online sessions, with the flexibility to end or continue. Two-hour sessions or longer are also possible.

My rates are £25/hr for group sessions, and £35/hr for 1-2-1 sessions the rate £35/hr. For corporate sessions please contact me for a day rate.

Once you agree to the number of sessions, fees are nonrefundable, so please make sure you're comfortable with me and the content before we start.
