My teaching approach is to start by giving a chance for the student to talk about any concerns and difficulties they might have while establishing together with the student any previous knowledge on the subject. After this, I choose to either go through the theory and practical implications of it or to go straight to tackling specific exercises. When going through the theory I use different resou...
My teaching approach is to start by giving a chance for the student to talk about any concerns and difficulties they might have while establishing together with the student any previous knowledge on the subject. After this, I choose to either go through the theory and practical implications of it or to go straight to tackling specific exercises. When going through the theory I use different resources (games, solved problems, visual experiments) with the aim of introducing some practical strategies to help the student approach the subject and tackle major misconceptions. Depending on the subject and the student (eg. secondary school level maths student) I provide extra exercises as homework to consolidate their learning.
