As a teacher, I worked hard to create a lively teaching environment that would not be stressful nor boring. The online teaching has increased my interaction with my students and parents on an individual basis and as well it taught me to be more patient. My strength is that I’m a very friendly person and because of that it help me to interact better with my students. I was and still is a student so I know what I would like my teacher to be so I try my best to meet the needs of my students but I also know not to cross the line of being too friendly and let my students lose their respect for me. Being a teacher means I help enrich children’s lives, not just through core educational skills like mathematics, reading, and science, but also responsibility, analytical skills, and building self-confidence. I have 1 year of teaching experience. I am a TESOL, TEYL and TEFL certified. My classes are adults and mostly young learners. Most of my students were visual learners , so I used information, textbooks or the materials provided by the company. I learned many things through my student teaching experience, which will shape the way I teach for years to come. Nothing makes me happier and prouder than seeing my students improved and succeed, knowing I have helped give kids or students the skills they need for the future.
