I am self taught but I have been regimented and determined to boost my own ability since starting so I have touched on many different parts of being a guitarist. I am competent with lead guitar as much as I am rhythm and feel I could give a well rounded experience of the guitar to anyone I teach.
Moreover, I have had plenty of experience maintaining or swapping out parts like strings or faulty switches etc. From both acoustic and electric guitars so I would be able to teach you how to be completely self sufficient with your guitar. You won't need to stop out or pay someone to change the strings because you will know how to.
Furthermore, I have a healthy knowledge of the theory side which most people prefer to avoid. I would be looking at teaching them the basics such as the scales and notes within them scales. As well as helping in identifying every note across the guitar fretboard.
Familiar with all open chords and am more than familiar with barre chords; one of the hardest things for beginners to master.
