Hello, thank you for checking out my profile! My name is Kieran and I am primarily an online English tutor, though I am willing to do in person lessons depending on the distance.

I have had previous experience tutoring foreign university students in London for 1 year, mostly focusing on vocabulary, grammar and proofreading their assignments. I have just returned from Japan, in which I spent 1 year tutoring English to business professionals, these lessons would include English business etiquette and conversational phrases. furthermore, I was a head English teacher in a preschool/kindergarten in Japan that would focus on very basic beginner vocabulary, sentence structure and phonics. My experience in private tutoring has ranged from elementary school students to university students to business level.

My online lessons will cater to your needs. We can discuss your skill level in English and the objectives and goals that you expect to achieve through your English tutoring. Then I will create the materials depending on your needs and goals. I believe that Tutoring should be more focused on verbal communication, only using written materials to help foster conversation topics. However, if you prefer more written explanations that you can save and study from later then I am more than happy to provide those materials for you.

My goal in tutoring is to create a friendly and comfortable atmosphere that allows the learners to feel safe in trying new things and expressing themselves in English without the feeling of being judged or failing.
