I will tailor my lessons to the individual client - every learner is different and therefore has different requirements. Whether you are studying for a qualification, studying out of personal desire, studying for your career, I can help YOU to improve your French in a relaxed and interesting way. I teach remotely, allowing me to reach people all over the UK. I have good knowledge of French GCSE and A-Level, both of which I have studied myself, and am currently in the fourth year of my French and MFL Bachelor's degree. I have lived and worked in Paris/Ile-de-France for nine months, which has really solidified my French. I also have 8 months experience teaching in two schools. The aim of my lessons is to provide the student that which they need in an accessible and interesting manner; learning a new language is difficult, and if lessons feel boring too, this is not very motivational for the student. If you wish to work following a curriculum or qualification, that's great! And if you have more personal or business oriented aims in mind, that's great too. I love to teach and to share my passion for languages, and I will help you to achieve your goals. I conduct private lessons in which my students will be able to practice writing and reading French, as well as oral and aural practice. We will do this through a multitude of methods, some more traditional, some more contemporary - whatever suits the student best. This includes things like classical revision and dictation methods, but I like to also use games, music, art, and film to help my students learn the language whilst being immersed in different Francophone cultures. Homework will be set and marked by me, as learning a language is a "drip-feed" process - practicing French only during lessons will hinder the student's ability to improve! Learning a language can be challenging, complex and time-consuming, but trust me, it's worth it - it unlocks a whole new world. I am ready to help you take on this challenge and flourish!
