I will use a variety of teaching materials such as powerpoints, textbooks and diagrams to enable students to fully understand content. The content of the lessons will be either dependent on gaps in the students understanding or following the syllabus’s timetable. I personally find that active recall and mind maps are crucial for topic understanding and identifying gaps in knowledge. Towards the end of a topic, I will create worksheets with past paper questions and run through exam technique to ensure that the student will be able to answer questions to the liking of the exam board.
