A typical lesson with me will see you learn game design in an easy and accessible way. Starting from scratch, we'll build ourselves a little basic game where you jump from block to block to reach a goal! Then we'll get into more advanced stuff as we go, eventually ending on a showcase of your game where I'll play it from start to finish and give feedback! If you need any help at all during the lessons, I'm more than happy to stop, slow down and go back for whoever needs it, and I'll make sure to help you out as much as possible, no matter who you are.

To achieve this, I will ask students to share their screen in a call to make sure we're able to follow along, downloading the right software from the right places and helping out where it's needed. Things can be overwhelming at first but I promise to help people understand Unreal Engine as best as I can.

I prioritise teaching the basics as game design can be quite overwhelming, but don't worry, we'll take it step by step, teaching you what you can do in Unreal Engine, taking things slowly and steadily, seeing what we can improve on one step at a time.

I have 6 years of video game design education under my belt and I've worked tirelessly on my own video games, and I want to teach you to be able to do what your heart wants to make, be it a 3D platformer, an RPG, a fun shooter, I'll try my best to tailor my lessons to individual needs and preferences and I'm more than open to take things at an individuals pace.
