Hello! I have been working as an ESL teacher abroad in Japan for 5 years. I have specialized in working with Elementary school and Junior High School students, but I have taught all ages from 4-25 years old! I especially like to incorporate games and activities into my lessons to help students understand grammar and have a chance to practice! With my experience and background as an ALT teacher in Japan, I am confident that I have the skills to help you learn English as a second language. I am very capable to adapt lessons to students specific needs or learning styles. I want to help students learn in whatever way is best for them. I want to show you the joys of speaking a foreign language and being able to communicate with a different range of people you normally wouldn't have the chance top talk to. I think learning other languages is a very valuable skill that anyone should have access to. I even study Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese in my free time. I know how difficult or frustrating it can be to learn a foreign language, so I am always empathetic to students who may be having a tougher time.
