I have tutored for two years within my school, helping other students achieve their grades.
I really want to focus on understanding the basic concepts that you need in Maths, and being able to apply them, so my lessons will be 50% teaching and learning concepts, and 50% interactively solving problems.
I will encourage the students to do problems in their own time (as maths is often practice, practice, practice...), but I will not be too harsh about this as I understand students often have a lot going on otherwise.
I understand the struggle that does come with trying to understand maths, and it can often feel like a foreign language that students will never be able to understand, but, to the students: I've been in your shoes, and trust me, it will just click one day, with the right direction and guidance.
I have access to a lot of resources from my school and things that I used to prepare for my GCSEs, so I'm happy to share and know a lot of places to get questions from.
I want to put my summer holidays to good use and help students love the subject as much as I do.
I'm comfortable teaching any topics, including some A-Level topics if students would like to try to get ahead and explore learning Maths at A-Level.
Please don't let the price point throw you not cheap because I'm a bad tutor, it's only cheap because I want everyone to have access to a good education, and I understand that people often cannot afford that.
