I am interested in setting students up for success. I am passionate about them achieving their full potential and facing the future with courage and passion.

I teach voice and communication skills. I am also certified in Accent retraining, so that ESL speakers do not lose out because they cannot be understood or express themselves. You may have the greatest presentation or message in the world but it needs to be heard and understood.

I have been a trainer, counsellor, coach and mentor for over 25 years. As a speech and language therapist in the past, working with clients after traumatic brain injury, I worked with many high school and University students to help them with essays and learning and offering coaching and mentoring support.

You can learn all the best practices for success, but if you do not have the correct mindset, belief in yourself and the ability to communicate, those practices will be overshadowed.

I teach and train in a fun learning environment and create a safe space for learning. Learning is interactive with exercises and relevant anecdotes.

I am trained in NLP and Hypnotherapy among other approaches and am passionate about students going forward in life knowing how to connect in person and meet people where they are. I am also trained in Personal Construction Theory. It is so important to understand the communication style of your boss or colleagues and not assume that everyone uses words and language in the same way. Of course the key is also learning excellent listening skills where people feel seen and heard.
