My format for for teaching will be to initially find the stronger and weaker areas of knowledge with the student and develop that knowledge. I will do this by covering the content first and then going through some exam style questions with the student to show them how to approach the questions. After that, I will give the student an opportunity to apply their knowledge by setting some questions for them to answer by themselves. The most important step will come after this when I will go through the questions after the student has answered them and give feedback to further their knowledge.

During my A level studies I attended tuition for A level Biology and Chemistry. This was very affective for me and my overall grade. This experience also gives me a good foundation to build my teaching skills on. More recently, my brother sat his GCSE’s and I would frequently help him with his Biology and Chemistry. From this I learnt the importance of teaching to the knowledge of the student and making the learning simpler for them to understand.
