I have over 15 years experience tutoring both 1:1 and in small group settings. I cater my lessons around the child's academic and social needs, in order to increase their learning potential where confidence levels increase noticeably. I maintain clear communication with the parents regarding progress and areas of development.

Although I specialise in Literacy, having qualifications in psychology, English, ESOL, as well as primary education, I bring a wealth of knowledge with me that is easily adapted to my setting.

My initial assessment with gauge learning needs as well as psychological and social needs, as a significant part of learning barriers stem from our psyche.

Over my years of experience, parents have come back with glowing reports of their child's progress and assessment results, sometimes meaning I ended up teaching the whole family!
