Hey i’m khawla and i’ve done my igcse. I teach math and i’ve been teaching my friends and siblings and classmates for a long time. The methods i use are very easy and understandable. Children understand easily when explained step by step. I give more time to students that need extra help and explain thoroughly and patiently. First thing i will do is build a strong foundation to explain the basics of mathematics. Secondly, i will provide clear explanations so that students understand clearly. Thirdly, i would like to encourage communication between the student and me so that they feel comfortable when telling me they don’t understand something or ask questions. Other than that, i would like to encourage practice among students, it is one of the most essential key to success, it makes work easier. Along with that, time management among students would be a plus point, it will show how much a student has understood and how much more he/she needs to focus. Lastly, being patient with students is essential as i would understand a student if they need extra help or time. Learning to know about what challenges a student is facing, it would make it easier for me to understand a students perspective. In the end, maths is a conceptual subjects and once it is understood by the students and they know how to do it, it becomes fair game and easy, it encourages them to study it more and choose their careers according to it.
