Having completed Grades 1-8 to a Distinction level I have the confidence to teach newly aspiring pianists from the age of 7 onwards.
Each session will begin with breaking down the piece of choice into small, manageable chunks and simplifying each section for the student to learn.
There will be a consistent recap of concepts throughout each, allowing the student to have a firm grip on each element of the piece and theory modules.
The minimum would be half-hour lessons where 20 minutes will focus on practical skills and the latter 10 on theory. These are interchangeable depending on the students' need/choice.
