My philosophy of education is that all children, irrespective of colour, gender, religion and race, are unique and must learn in a stimulating learning environment, where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.

It is my honest desire to create this form of learning environment, where students can actualize their full potential. I will make sure that I provide a safe environment, where students are called upon to share their ideas and experiences with other students. In other words,

l will encourage collaborative learning among students in my class.
I strongly believe that there are five important elements that are conducive to learning.

First, I believe that the teacher ‘role in the class is to guide students to daily discover something new in whatever subjects that he is teaching them.

Secondly, I believe that students must have access to hands-on activities. Thus, I will endeavor to make my teaching to be activity based. I will get my students to work on individual and group bases. Through that they will showcase their individual talents, while they are still learning from each other.

Thirdly, I firmly believe that students should be able to have choices and allow their curiosity to direct their learning. Hence, in my teaching, I will employ democratic ideals to give students an opportunity to participate in the teaching and learning situations. I will take their choices and interests into consideration in my choice of subject topics and teaching styles.

Fourthly, I am of the opinion that students should be given an opportunity to exhibit their skills in the class. To this effect, I will endeavor to encourage students to do projects, which will help them to showcase their talents.

Lastly, I believe that the teacher should embrace modern technology and use it to promote learning.

Hence, in my teaching, I will make use of modern technology during my teaching and through that promote learning.
