My lessons are lively and dynamic. They are interactive and always aimed at taking students to the next level - in their own time. A lot of listening and speaking, using a great range of materials from the internet, social media, course books, music and video.

My lessons are lively and dynamic. They are interactive and always aimed at taking students to the next level - in their own time. A lot of listening and speaking, using a great range of materials from the internet, social media, course books, music and video.

I do not rely on boring grammar books and teaching pointless vocabulary!! Students learn to use grammar and vocabulary in their time. I expect students to make 100 mistakes every lesson - because that means they are speaking and trying.

I am VERY experienced at knowing how and when to correct mistakes.

Students may bring their own materials. Planning and presenting individual projects has proved very successful even when students thought this would be difficult.

I highly recommend Kevin as a tutor. From the moment I began working with him, I felt my understanding of language had increased greatly. Kevin is a patient and knowledgeable teacher who is able to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand. His teaching style is organised and goal oriented, with each session building upon the previous one. He has tailored his teaching to ensure I fully understand the material, and he is always available to answer any question I may have. Additionally, Kevin is a kind and friendly person, which creates a comfortable and engaging learning environment. He is also very flexible and accommodation in terms of scheduling and adjusting lesson plans. In summary, if you are looking for a tutor who is effective, supportive and a pleasure to with, then Kevin is an excellent choice. I am grateful for all the help and guidance he has provided.
