I am passionate about History and helping young people get excited about learning about History. My interests are modern American History. From Slavery and the Slave Trade to the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights movement. History does not need to be boring.
I will deliver my classes online via Teams or Zoom, they will be learner centred and interactive, so you tell me what you would like to learn and how you prefer to learn. I will try and make them as fun as I can. I can also help you with the Academic skills that will be necessary for you to study successfully at university. Things like Critical reading, referencing and formal writing styles are all necessary and university level and I can help you feel more confident in what will be expected of you.
Whatever your topic of History you are needing to brush up on or have a burning interest to learn about I can help you with. I have many years experience working with people and work with teenagers at the moment so I am approachable and willing to help you get where you need to be to succeed.
