I like teaching students who are proactive and knows what their goals are. I would prefer a pre-assessment first with the student and see if they have prior knowledge or studied in advance the topic we’re about to discuss. It is how I can adjust the detail of the discussion so it will be more fun and manageable for the student to learn. I like students who are not shy to ask questions. That’s how you can learn. I won’t be able to help if I don’t know what you need. I prefer to challenge students in solving problems on their own first before giving them the solutions specially for those students who are more mature. I see to it the the teaching sessions will be worthwhile for both the student and me.
