Kendrick Moore

My name is Kendrick and I am a final year undergraduate student studying Chemistry at the University of Liverpool. As an aspiring Chemist, I have developed my skillset with the addition and utilising of significant skills including analysing a broad range of chemical products using several analytical techniques, applying theoretical and practical knowledge to identify problems and find solutions, effective communication, good time management, being highly organised, motivating, being consistent, staying disciplined, being professional, and performing under pressure.

As a result of studying Chemistry and undertaking various roles, for example, as a trampolining coach and student advocate, it would be a fantastic opportunity to use my wealth of experience to guide GCSE and A-level students studying Chemistry to achieve their academic goals in order to take the next step into fulfiling their future aspirations.

My lessons will involve teaching the fundamentals of Chemistry and to build this knowledge at a sensible pace and incorporate different teaching styles to tailors the needs of students. This will involve looking at the basics of each topic and then once confidence has grown in each area, exam-style questions will be provided to test knowledge under pressure. This will allow students to gain a better understanding of what mock and external examinations will be like to allow themselves to adapt and start getting used to these type of conditions.
